As a parish, we are grateful to those parishioners who give of their time serving as Eucharistic Ministers, Mass Co-ordinators, Lectors, Greeters and Altar Servers.
Remember to find a substitute if you are not going to be available on a scheduled Saturday or Sunday. It is very difficult for the Mass Coordinators to find Lectors and Ministers on very short notice, so please be courteous and try to find a sub.
A NOTE FROM THE SCHEDULE COORDINATOR:
The new schedule for Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers and Greeters for the months of May, June, July and August 2012 are listed below. Please note that the latest schedule has been expanded from 3 months to 4 months. Going forward, all of the scheduling will be done in 4 month intervals.
We could desperately use some additional Eucharistic Ministers for the 4:30 PM Saturday mass. If you can switch completely to 4:30 PM mass or at least serve a couples of times a quarter at this mass, please let Ken Hrycik know.
For those who have volunteered to serve at more than one mass, please remember to check both mass schedules.

A NOTE TO EUCHARISTIC
MINISTERS FROM FR. TOM
It would be helpful if those taking Communion to
the homebound were close to the altar when the presider asks you to come
forward. You can sit where you want to
for Mass, but at Communion time, after you have received, come to the front row
on the choir side near the presider’s chair.
This will save a bit of time. It
might seem like this is petty, but waiting for Eucharistic ministers to come
from the back of church creates an unnecessary delay in the liturgy. We wouldn’t want anyone to be delayed in
getting to coffee and donuts, now would we?
